ECOMHUNT FOR MY E-COMMERCE STORE?
AN ECOMHUNT REVIEW
Many people with an interest in internet business have still not explored the dropshipping business model.
We are pretty sure you have heard of Shopify, a super easy, user-friendly online store platform that allows just about anyone with an internet connection and a small budget to find and sell winning products.
All well and good, but finding products, the right products, can be a little difficult and so using a well-designed tool to find winning products is key to ensure profit margins are predictably in your favour to make it in this highly competitive arena that is ecom!
In this blog post, we are going to cover a great contender in the ecommerce arena, Ecomhunt; bringing you hot products daily to aid your trending products selection.
BENEFITS OF ECOMHUNT
Ecomhunt offers some decent webinars and tutorials accessible to their free members to get you started but some are locked to honour exclusivity to Ecomhunt Pro Members.
Now this is where it gets interesting, you can upgrade to the pro version at this current phase (at time of writing) as a beta tester for just $20 per month, the founder states normal price will be $29 per month.
Ecomhunt claim (almost) EVERY user is making money from their online store 1-4 weeks in by using their winning product list analytics.
So, it’s good value and worth giving the 14-day Free Ecomhunt Trial a try to get access to a curation of potentially best-selling products EVERY DAY for your Shopify store!
HOW TO USE ECOMHUNT
From ‘sort by’ options such as ‘newest’ products to ‘category’ selection, the dashboard is pretty basic, which is a good thing as simple is key – we are not knocking it.
Available information on each individual product includes the following insights:
Profits and costs will help you map out costs and predict potential profits.
You will also get a saturation score, meaning how many stores are already selling this product so you are not trying to tap into oversaturated markets.
From what’s going viral on social to what is selling well, this feature gives you all the information to map out hot product predictions.
As above, check out who is engaging with THE hottest products right now and then act! Be that on Shopify, eBay, ads… the people plot the outcome.
This feature gives you the heads up!
All links related to specific products are listed neatly for you to click through to, such as Facebook ads, Aliexpress links, suppliers and so forth. Note the engagement and reviews via these links, they point towards demand.
No demand = No need (for the most part!)
*We could debate this, do comment to discuss the exceptions on the blog.
Insights to ad copy will give you guidance to write your own product ads.
Targeting gives you an idea of demographics such as interests and hobbies for each product, align this and you are serving the correct target market.
As above it’s currently just $20 a month so for those on a budget, it’s our number one contender for affordability if this is a priority in your strategy right now.
Of course, there is a FREE option! However, hot products are delayed by 3 days, so for a low price, you may as well sign up now for just $5 dollars a week.
You can sign up here.
The latest version 2.0 claims to be better than ever hence there is now a monthly fee to become a pro member.
Benefits include new product ‘types’, a saving product feature so you can come back to potential products after some research and browsing and Aliexpress reviews for you to consider which products to sell.
Winners club is an exclusive recognition to those hitting over 5k in sales mark, benefits include merch and ‘winners wall’ fame.
HONEST CONCLUSION – Is Ecomhunt Worth It?
The founder Mordechai Arba has a YouTube channel SIMPLE DUDE MARKETING so do check him out and tell him we sent ya, plus a large social media group of 40,000 members+ but first read on…
We aren’t super impressed when we stack up our other reviews for dropshipping product research tools such as Niche Scraper BUT any insights to predict your profit margin work towards your dropshipping strategy.
Ecomhunt clearly lay out product cost and selling price for you to plot your profit margins at a low monthly cost and has a similar dash to Pexda. We wouldn’t rep the ‘must-have Shopify apps’ on the Ecomhunt website so scrap those, you really don’t need them!
Wrapping up, a great no-frills, budget product hunting tool many are utilising to make profits in their e-commerce store, and we think you should give it a fair trial. With over a thousand products to consider, give Ecomhunt a try and decide for yourself if this is the option for your store's winning formula.
Now remember, a product hunting tool alone will not build a brand your customers will want to keep coming back to, we covered some great tips in this article from web design to your content strategy to growing a loyal customer base, we drop some knowledge bombs to make sure you have the edge in online store success!
